Dianna Kay Richey, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on October 27, 1946, in French Lick, Indiana, the daughter of the late James Woodrow Archer and Blanch (Willoughby) Archer. Dianna was a graduate of Springs Valley High School in French Lick, Indiana in the class of 1964. On November 7, 1975, she married Thomas "Tom" Richey, who survives. She was a former employee of Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana where she worked as a phlebotomist. She was a member in the women's auxiliary for many years at the Scottsburg Moose Lodge #2324, Scottsburg American Legion #234, and the Scott County VFW #6582. Dianna was the cook at the Scottsburg Moose Lodge in the past and was well known for her cheesecake and homemade noodles. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Sean Fields; and brother, Beedie Archer. In addition to her husband, Tom, her survivors include, two daughters, Lindsay (Joe) Johnson of Scottsburg, Indiana and Lisa (Shannan Wells) Bjorklund of Jacksonville, Florida; son, Tommy (Wendy) Richey of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Peggy (Ted) Cates of Jasper, Indiana; six grandchildren, Kyle Richey (Samantha Hays), Logan Thomas, Noah Thomas, Olivia Johnson, Ethan Richey, and Emily Richey; and one great grandchild Levi Hawkins. Visitation one hour prior to services from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Memorial Service 4:00 pm Monday, July 24, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg Indiana.
