Donald Lee Morris, 87, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on September 21, 2025, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on August 21, 1938, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Harry Morris and Myrtle (Broady) Moll. Donald graduated from Scottsburg Senior High School in 1956. In December of 1956 Donald married the love of his life, Joyce Shearer, and she passed away on April 2, 1987. Donald lived his life grounded in values of hard work, faith, and family. He was a devoted member of the Austin Wesleyan Church, where he found community, purpose, and solace. His passion for both family and faith served as a foundation for his life, inspiring all who knew him. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joyce. He is survived by one son, Steven L (Christal) Morris; eight grandchildren, Jacqueline (Shawn) Collier, Zachary (Heather) Morris, Steven K (Anna) Morris, Lucas Morris, Briana (Bryce) Petty, Devon (Demi) Stidam, Brittany (TJ) Stidam, and Colton White; great grandchildren, Alexus, Elizabeth, Emily, Abigail, Isaac, Ellie, Canaan, Elijah, Lydia, Bradyn, Brinley, Mia, and Ryan. The graveside service for Donald Morris will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 1:00pm at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Burial will follow the service at Scottsburg Cemetery.
