Doris Jean Mahan, 76, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on April 15, 1943 in Jackson, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Matt Little and Florence (McIntosh) Little. Doris graduated for Austin High School. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and had also worked as a hairdresser. Doris was a member of the Grace Covenant Church in Austin, Indiana, loved to garden, entertain people in her home and shopping. In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by five brothers, Garland, Gordon, Lawrence, Paul and Luther Little. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ancil A. Mahan; her daughter, Elizabeth Sizemore and her husband Rocky of Hendersonville, Tennessee; her son, Christopher Mahan and his wife Patricia of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Sara Mendoza (Mark), Jacob Sizemore, Farah Jackson (Will) and Trinity Mahan and one great grandson, Miller Duke Mendoza.
