Earl Evan "George" Spence, 58 of Austin, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on July 28, 1965 in Dayton, Ohio, to Wilma J. (Cook) Taylor the late Earl Edward Spence. Earl had many friends and had a huge heart. He enjoyed working on his property and collecting cans. Most of all he loved his dogs and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his two daughters, Jasmine Rose Green-Spence of Austin, Indiana and Ceisha June Spence of Seymour, Indiana; two sons, Conner Lee Spence of Palmyra, Indiana and Shawn Evan (LeAnn) Spence of Crothersville, Indiana; brother, David Lee (Patricia) Spence of Austin, Indiana; two sisters, Joyce Angela (James) Whitehead of Austin, Indiana and Londa Kay (Jackie) Perkinson of Jeffersonville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and he was especially close to his great nephews Liam and Lucas Howard . Services will be at 3:00 pm Monday, September 18, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home with Matthew Craig officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Monday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
