Elizabeth Pearl "Liz" Snelling, 61, of Scottsburg, passed away on December 29, 2024, in New Albany, Indiana. She was born June 2, 1963 in Scottsburg to Irven H. Sweet, Jr. and Ruby Christine Fluhr Sweet. She attended Scottsburg High School and in her earlier years, worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in local nursing homes. She enjoyed crocheting and loved spending time with her grand-babies. Liz is survived by her daughter, Angela Snelling Smith and her son, Robert Cochran, her sister, Mary Palmer, her brother, Bob Green and many grandchildren. Liz is preceded in death by her parents, his brothers, Lawrence Sweet and Irven Sweet, III and sister Rebecca Campbell as well as her great-granddaughter, Emily Lemarr.

Cremation has been chosen and entrusted to Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg, Indiana.
