Elizabeth Ann Smith, a beloved member of our family and community, left this world peacefully on September 10, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on April 10, 1958, in Franklin, Indiana to Eddie M. and Fannie Elizabeth McGuire Geralds, Elizabeth touched the lives of many through her compassionate work as a nurse and her warm spirit.

A graduate of Franklin High School, Elizabeth continued her education at Franklin College, where she cultivated her passion for caring for others. Throughout her career in healthcare, she exemplified kindness and dedication, nurturing both patients and colleagues with unwavering support.

Elizabeth was not just a devoted professional; she was a cherished wife to her beloved spouse, Frieda Smith, a nurturing mother to her daughter, Allie Smith, and a proud grandmother to David Smith, Mark Sizemore, and Cheyenne Sizemore. She is also survived by her dear brother, Darrell Geralds, her sister, Joe Ann Wood, her sister-in-law, Sherry Geralds, and her brother-in-law, Tony Wood. Each of them will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Fannie Geralds.

In her free time, Elizabeth found joy in reading and taking long drives, often relishing the simple beauty of the scenery around her. Her kindness, laughter, and genuine love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Following her wishes, a cremation will take place.
