Ella Carrier, 81, passed away on April 19, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Campton, Kentucky to the late James Orville Campbell and Ilean (Murphy) Campbell. Ella was a woman of many talents, known for her exceptional gardening skills, cultivating beautiful flowers that brightened her yard and the lives of those around her. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was whipping up her famous soup beans and cornbread or keeping her home clean, cozy, and welcoming. Her gentle spirit and deep compassion left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Robert Bowman, Edin White, and Ronald "Jack" Carrier; a sister, Aulsa Misamore; brother, Roger Campbell; and a stepdaughter, Wanda McDaniel. Ella is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Pat) Sullivan of Austin, Indiana; three sons, Randall Bowman of Austin, Indiana, Phillip Bowman of Newburgh, Indiana; and Tony (Michelle) White of Scottsburg, Indiana; step daughter, Aretta (Kevin) Hashman; two brothers, Paul and Gary Campbell; five sisters, Betty Eversole, Mary Melton, Marsha Gray, Glenda Hart, and Rebecca Aynes; twenty grandchildren, Zachary (Stephanie) Sullivan, Shelby (Christian Bates) Sullivan, Kinley (Brandon) Stewart, Katrina, Briana, and Alee Bowman, Dakota (Ty) Winchester, Katelyn (Rob) Winters, Courtney (Edwin) Bowman, Hannah (Wade) Bowman, Bailey (Emily Grace) White, Brooklyn (Brad Applegate) White, Brittlyn (Cody Whipker) Holloway, Nicole (Travis) Christian, Raymond (Becca) McIntosh, Alexandar Darlage, Chandler McDaniel, Brandon Hashman, Zakk (Lindsay) Hashman, and Sean (Brooklyn) Mitchell; and twenty five great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Ethan, Warren, Barron, Brandon, Ellie, Jayce, Jack, Sonora, Noah, Arabella, Easton, Hattie, Chance, Brier, Dale, Sadie, Braxton, Gracelyn, Elena, Levi, Bowie, Sophia, Nora, and Naomi. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ella's life at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Funeral service will be Friday, April 25, 2025, 1:00pm at Collins Funeral Home with Gary Campbell officiating. There will be a viewing at 10:00am and till the time of services on Friday at the funeral home. Bural will follow at Bowman Family Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
