Eric Curtis Jessup, 47, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Madison, Indiana. He was born on August 25, 1972 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of David Bruce Jessup and Beatrice (Cyrus) Jenkins. Eric graduated from Southwestern High School in 1991. He was an operator for Viking Plastics in Scottsburg, Indiana and also had worked at the old Crafts by Country Folks and Seymour Tubing. Eric enjoyed playing his bass guitar and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Radia S. (King) Jessup; a son and daughter, David Todd Jessup and Jaylee Nicole Jessup both of Scottsburg, Indiana; his mother, Beatrice Jenkins of Crothersville, Indiana; two sisters, Christina Hope Franklin of North Vernon, Indiana and Casey Jo Jessup of Madison, Indiana; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Scottsburg Cemetery.
