Evalee Smith, 90, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born on November 26, 1929 in Goose Rock, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles and Gracie (Caudill) Gray. Evalee was a homemaker, a former employee of Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana, where she worked for 10 years and a Christian. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Smith; a son, Larry Michael Smith; three brothers, Billy, Earnest and Oscar Gray and two sisters, Doshie Hunter and Bertha Mae Hart. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Smith-Wolfe and Erma Smith all of Lexington, Indiana and Linda (Danny Gates) Smith-Probst of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Myrle Smith of Lexington, Indiana; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
