Evelyn Kaye Wiggins, 55, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at her residence. She was born on January 1, 1965 in Scottsburg, Indiana. Evelyn had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Sellersburg, Indiana and also was a former custodian at the Rest Area on I-65 South of Scottsburg. She was a member of the Scottsburg Church of God. Evelyn loved going to church and enjoyed animals, especially her dog Harley. Survivors include her fiancé, Bobby Terry of Austin, Indiana; her son, Brandon Robinson of Scottsburg, Indiana; her mother, Dora L. Snelling of Scottsburg, Indiana; six brothers, Jimmy (Loretta) Snelling of Austin, Indiana, James Snelling of Scottsburg, Indiana, Richard (Michelle) Snelling of Lanesville, Indiana, Mark Snelling of New Albany, Indiana, Travis (Erica) Albertson of Scottsburg, Indiana and Bobby Glenn (Tammy) Reynolds of Lexington, Indiana; three sisters, Sherry L. (Butch) Kirk of Austin, Indiana, Libby (David) Donahaa of Scottsburg, Indiana and Billie Jo Matlock of Jeffersonville, Indiana and one grandson, Weston Robinson. In addition to her father, James Richard Snelling and her biological mother, Martha (Morrison) Snelling, Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister, Jamie Russell. At the request of Evelyn's family, graveside services will be private and for immediate family only due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
