Forrest Royalty, 81, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 1, 1940, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Bailey Bryan Royalty and Stella (Riley) Royalty. Forrest worked in the cabinet making business for the majority of his life. Before retiring he owned his own company, Royalty Custom Cabinets. Forrest was a huge history buff. He never wanted to stop learning and was always reading or watching a new show. Forrest loved squirrel hunting. He was crazy about his dogs and took them everywhere including to McDonalds to get both of them burgers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward (Wilma) Royalty; and his sister, Lois Jean (Vernon) Roberts, His survivors include his daughter, Judy Pendarvis and her husband Daniel of Fort Myers, Florida; three granddaughters, Amber (Justin) Lewis, Ashlee Pendarvis, and Amanda Pendarvis; five nephews, Scott (Ingrid) Royalty, Steve Royalty(Sherry Jankosky), Shawn Royalty, Dennis Roberts, and Gregg Roberts; one niece, Beth Roberts Steele; three Great Nieces; two Great Nephews; one Great Great Niece; and four Great Great Nephews. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Dave Huey officiating. Visitation 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial donations can be made in Forrest's name to the Scott County Humane Society in c/o Collins Funeral Home.
