Frank Helton, age 72, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on March 4, 2025, at Hampton Oaks, in Scottsburg. He was born March 10, 1952, in Scottsburg to the late Forrest and Pauline (Cathcart) Helton. Frank was a lifelong member of Zoah Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was a 1970 graduate of Scottsburg High School, where he was Vice President of the Future Farmers of America. Upon graduating from high school, Frank pursued a certification in Diesel Mechanics. His interests included cows, farming and John Deere Tractors, and he was known for his mischievous personality. At Hampton Oaks, where he resided long-term, he built lasting friendships. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff for the exceptional care he received over the years. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Pauline Helton, a brother Steven Helton, and a nephew Ryan Helton. Frank is survived by his children Lonnie & Lynnette; two brothers, James Helton and Robert (Jonna) Helton; nephews and nieces; John, Jennifer, Brian, Daniel, Lara, and Michael Helton. Visitation for friends and family will be held Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:00am at Collins Funeral Home, Scottsburg, Indiana. Services for Frank Helton will be held on Friday, March 7. 2025, 11:00am, at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Drum officiating.
