Fred Strantz, Jr., 62, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on December 11, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Fred Thomas Strantz Sr. and Erma (Cole) Strantz. He was a Printing Press Operator at Viking Plastic in Scottsburg, Indiana and also worked at Multicolor in Scottsburg, Indiana. He loved his truck and especially his dog, Blazer. He married on June 28, 1997 to Lisa (Casey) Strantz, who survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters Linda and Sue. His survivors include his wife, Lisa Strantz; a son, John Ryan (Jenny) Casey of Scottsburg, Indiana; three brothers, Dennis (Shirley) Strantz, Frank Strantz, and Leroy (Joyce) Strantz; a sister, Donna (John) Jensen; and two grandchildren, Ashton James Shorman (Casey) and Fred Bernard Casey. Cremation services were requested and entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
