Fronia Marie Bornstein, 52, of Madison, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on October 21, 1970 in Marysville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell Combs Sr. and Wanda Lee (Mullins) Combs. Fronia graduated in 1989 from Scottsburg High School. On July 27, 1994 she married the love of her life, Phillip "Phil" Bornstein, who survives. Fronia was baptized and confirmed at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church Madison, Indiana, then later attended The Good Samaritan Church. Fronia was a Breast Cancer Awareness advocate after struggling with the disease. She loved all things fall and anything to do with Halloween. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Wanda. In addition to her husband, Phil, survivors include son, Phillip Bornstein of Henryville, Indiana; daughter, Holly (Jeremy) Bornstein of Swedesboro, New Jersey; stepdaughter, Angela Ellis of Madison, Indiana; four brothers, Russell (Barbara) Combs Jr. of Henryville, Indiana, Ronnie (Joanna) Combs of Scottsburg, Indiana, Larry (Patti) Combs of Austin, Indiana, and James (Tina) Combs of Henryville, Indiana; two sisters, Frances Lowe and Laura Lou (Chris) Bowling both of Scottsburg, Indiana; and two grandchildren; Skylar and Maggie Ellis. Memorial Service: 1:00 pm Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Matthew Craig officiating. Visitation: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at Collins Funeral Home. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home with a private family burial at a later date at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Henryville, Indiana.
