Gary Miskell, 86, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on February 28, 1937 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Delmar Albert Miskell and Peg (Wheeler) Miskell. Gary was a member of First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana. He worked for Brown and Forman Corporation as a maintenance mechanic for many years. Gary loved to fish and ride his motorcycles. On April 27, 1974 he married the love of his life, Beverly (Richey) Miskell, who survives. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Miskell; his parents; and brother, Delmar Miskell Jr. Survivors include his wife, Beverly(Richey) Miskell; one daughter, Lora (Dwayne) Hoagland of Louisville, Kentucky; two sons, Jeff (Donna) Hubbard of Scottsburg, Indiana and Doug Hubbard of Scottsburg, Indiana; and one sister, Barbara (Mike) Zollman of Scottsburg, Indiana. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Zack Hoagland, Morgan (Amy) Hubbard, Baylie (Zach) Bowling, James (Monica) Miskell, and Michelle (Alan) Banet; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with John Lowry officiating. Visitation: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Sunday at Collins Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home.
