Geraldine Higdon, 75, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Scott Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1944 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of Albert Gordon Hardin, Sr. and Ofa (Gay) Hardin. Geraldine graduated from Lexington High School and was a homemaker. She also had worked at the old Davis Surplus Store and Cliff's Drive-In in Scottsburg, Indiana and the old Indiana Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her companion of 47 years, John Schroeder of Scottsburg, Indiana; a son, Mike Higdon of Scottsburg, Indiana; her mother, Ofa Hardin of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Vickie Hardin of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Albert Hardin and Matt Hardin (Linda) all of Scottsburg, Indiana and two grandchildren, Paul Higdon and Shannon Reynolds (Jason). Private burial was held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 in Scottsburg Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
