Gladys Spaulding Horn, 91, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of Salem, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on November 11, 1929 in Nodaway County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Roy Spaulding and Josephine (Winslow) Spaulding. Gladys graduated from Salem High School in the Class of 1947. She was a homemaker and a foster parent for many years. Gladys was a member of the Marshall Avenue Church in Salem, Indiana and the old Little York Rockette's Group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Barney" Horn in Dec. 2006; four brothers, Everett, Roger, Charles and Junior Roscoe "J.R." Spaulding; five sisters, Kathleen Williams, Remalea McCoskey, Anita Kay Haven, Geneva Moody and Lorene Hamilton. Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca "Becky" Horn of Salem, Indiana; a sister, Colleen Baldwin of Scottsburg, Indiana; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Conley of Salem, Indiana; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be given to the Mount Cemetery, c/o David Johnson, 1054 E.
