Glen Wayne Borden, 70, of Gallatin, Tennessee, went to his final home on Sunday, December 24, 2023. He resided at Smith County Health and Rehab Center in Carthage, Tennessee. He was born on March 31, 1953, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Rue Hermas Borden and Leira Ellen (Thompson) Borden. Survivors include his son, Craig Rue Borden (Cindy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; daughter, Jennifer Lee deBree (Joe) of Sebring, Florida; two brothers, Ray (Jeanie) Borden of Scottsburg, Indiana and Rue A. Borden of Lubbock, Texas; sister, Lyndi Teipen (Tony) of Scottsburg, Indiana; and three grandchildren, Landry, Emily and JoJo. He was an avid trucker and loved being behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler. He enjoyed shooting pool at The Wild Turkey Tavern, where he earned several trophies. Cremation services have been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A celebration of life will be held at Collins Family Center 11:00 am - 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
