Glen W. King, 68, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on November 9, 1953 in East St. Louis , Illinois, the son of the late Robert King and Radia (Davis) King. Glen was co-owner of K & K Cleaning Service in Scottsburg, Indiana since 1995 and also a retired operator at the Waste Water Treatment Plant for the City of Scottsburg where he worked for 20 years. He was a member of the Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana. On June 23, 1972 he married Katrina (Eversole) King, who survives. Glen truly enjoyed fishing, UK Basketball, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leo and Robert "Bobby" King and four sisters, Vickie Cooper, Connie Sue Stamper, Mary Brandenburg, and Glenda Brickley. Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Katrina (Eversole) King; his daughter, Starr Schroeder (fiancé, Jason Corbin) of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; his three sisters, Barbara Jones of Little York, Indiana, Gladys Carey of Lexington, Indiana, and Rhonda Smith of Scottsburg, Indiana; his five brothers, Dallas King of Crothersville, Indiana, Johnny King of Scottsburg, Indiana, Charles King of Melbourne, Florida, Joe King of Detroit, Michigan, and Jessie King of Bedford, Indiana; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Isaac and Isabella Schroeder. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin, Indiana. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
