Glenn King, 93, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 21, 1927 in Uniontown, Ohio, the son of the late John and Mary (Overholt) King. Glenn was a member of Living Waters Mennonite Church in Lexington, Indiana and was a dairy farmer for many years. Glenn was married on May 24, 1953 to Sarah (Hostetler) King, who passed away. In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by his two sons, Steven and Paul King; a brother, Leon King; two sisters, Leona Mick and Arlene Miller; and three grandchildren, Margaret Yoder, and twins Ronda and Londa King. His survivors include eight children, Susan (Noah) Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia, Eugene (Marie) King of Montezuma, Georgia, Rosemary (Ivan) Yoder of Lexington, Indiana, Kenneth (Edith) King of Cottagegrove, Tennessee, Dave (Faith) King of Dickson, Tennessee, Elaine (Thomas) Weaver of Summersville, Kentucky, Margaret (Mark) Mast of Dickson, Tennessee, Leon (Loretta) King of Lexington, Indiana; two daughter-in-laws, Edna Yoder (Elmer) of Hartville, Ohio and Christina King of Dickson, Tennessee; fifty eight grandchildren and seventy nine great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Living Waters Mennonite Church in Lexington, Indiana with Pastor Floyd Lengacher officiating. Visitation will be at 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday and 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday at Living Waters Mennonite Church.
