Gloria June Adams, age 71, passed away on January 8, 2025, in her home, in Medora, Indiana. Gloria was born in Scottsburg, Indiana to Lewis Elmer West Jr. and Louise (Palmer) Vires. Gloria committed eight years to Cintas, focusing on uniform pressing. Her generosity was evident in donations to multiple organizations. As a creative homemaker, Gloria devoted her life to leisure activities, including crochet and quilting. Gloria's leisure time consisted of playing phone games, but her greatest joy came from spending time with family and cooking for loved ones. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Anthony Scott Woodworth, Jr.; three siblings, Lewis E. West III, Angel West and Brenda West. Gloria is survived by her loving husband, George Adams; ex-husband of twenty-five years, Brad Davis; four sons, Shane Bradley (Glenda) Mishler, William Mishler, Christopher (Karen) Mishler, Jeremy Davis; two daughters, Heather (Darren) Napier and Katrina Vincent; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Gloria is also survived by four siblings; Diane, Connie, Rita, and Dale. Public Viewing will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Services for Gloria Adams will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Darren Napier (son-in-law) officiating. Burial will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. Memorial donations can be made in Gloria's name to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in c/o Collins Funeral Home.
