Helen L. LaMaster, 81, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on February 23, 1940 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Orville and Emma Myrtle (Butt) Stark. She worked for many years at Hook's Drug Store in Scottsburg, Indiana. Helen was a member of the First Christian Church and graduate of Scottsburg High School. Helen enjoyed baking and was very well known for her zucchini bread, potato salad, and her peanut butter fudge. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her late husband, John "Jack" LaMaster; her brother, Donald Stark; and sister, Marilyn Jean Stark. Survivors include a son, Mike (Tina) LaMaster of Scottsburg, Indiana; three daughters, Sherry (Ancil) Powers of Scottsburg, Indiana, Donna (Felix) Estep of Austin, Indiana, and Sandy (Tony) Morgan of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Wanda Carr and Mary Lou Cline; brother, Roger Stark; six grandchildren, Tera Bressler (Aaron), Michael LaMaster (Kellie), Whitney Richie (David), Zachary Morgan, Sean Morgan, and Krista Powers; and six great grandchildren, Kylie, Kinley, Kelsey, Lucy, Laila, and Luke. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday, November 12, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home with Phil LaMaster officiating. Visitation 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday at Collins Funeral Home.
