Henry Joseph Happel, Jr., 67, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in Sweetwater, Tennessee. He was born on August 24, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry Happel Sr. and Jessie (Hampton) Goodlett. Henry was a jack of all trades, and has been a farmer most of his life. He enjoyed farming, clock making, golfing, fishing, hunting and most importantly spending time with his family. On June 5, 1981 he married Ann (Armes) Happel, who survives. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ann (Armes) Happel of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Christina Turner of Jeffersonville, Indiana; son, Douglas (Lisa) Turner of Crothersville, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Emily and Dylan. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
