Howard E. Kendall, 85, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. He was born on March 18, 1934 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the son of the late Delbert O. Kendall and Marjorie F. (Watterson) Kendall. Howard graduated from Scottsburg High School and was a retired employee of the old American Can Company in Austin, Indiana. He liked playing cards, horseshoes and especially spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his son, Mark E. Kendall and two brothers, Richard and David Kendall. Survivors include his daughter, Vicki Ubelhor and her husband Bill of Scottsburg, Indiana; a brother, James Kendall of Campbellsville, Georgia; a sister, Mary Ellen Funk and her husband Jim of Scottsburg, Indiana; five grandchildren, Brian Gasser, Regan Stewart (Rodney), Eastan and Kiran Kendall and Luke Ubelhor (Katie) and four great grandchildren, Taylor and Blake Stewart, Kason Gasser and Mason Howard.
