Howard D. "Don" Stein, Jr., 70, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born June 12, 1950 in Madison, Indiana, the son of the late Howard D. Stein, Sr. and Margaret (Volz) Stein. Don graduated from Southwestern High School, was a self-employed carpenter and a member of the Lexington Christian Church. He was also a proud member of the National Rifle Association and had won numerous awards at the End of Trails National Competition for Cowboy Action Shooters. Survivors include a son, Joe Stein of Hanover, Indiana. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana.
