Hubert "Hubie" DeWeese, 83, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on September 2, 1939 in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was the son of the late Oscar O. DeWeese and Beula W. (Weaver) DeWeese. He attended Zoah Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana, and was a handyman. Hubie enjoyed being outside and playing Rummy. He was preceded by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Hubie is survived by one brother, Howard DeWeese of Scottsburg, Indiana; one sister, Shirley Neace; friend, Ann Muncy of Scottsburg, Indiana; and two caregivers, Kayle Sandlin and Jody Cain.
