Jacob Lawrence Rogers, 29, of New Salisbury, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jacob was born on April 13, 1992, at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, and is the son of Monique (Boulanger) Rogers and Stephen and Jennifer (Huff) Rogers.
Jacob loved good food and was renowned for his mad cooking skills. Jacob loved funny movies, music, and while despising mowing grass, did it always out of the love for his mom.
Along with his dad, Jacob was an avid ghost hunter and could frequently be seen running towards the car yelling, "Go, go, go!"
Jacob was also a loving brother to Kasey, Cameron, Kinsey, Riley, and Faith. They were always into some sort of mischief that not only gave their parents grey hair, but also brought an enormous amount of joy into their lives.
Jacob was generous and kind to all that knew him, leaving behind wonderful loving memories.
Jacob was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Leroy and Constance (Fouquette) Boulanger, Lewis A. Rogers, Linda (Morris) and Bill White.
Jacob is survived by his son, Charles Wayne Rogers of New Salisbury, Indiana, his parents, Monique Rogers of New Salisbury, Indiana, and Stephen and Jennifer Rogers of Austin, Indiana, his siblings, Kasey (Shane) Eaves of Kansas City, Missouri, Cameron Eversole of Scottsburg, Indiana, Kinsey (Joshua) Gibbins of Scottsburg, Indiana, Riley Rogers and Faith Rogers of Austin, Indiana, his grandmother, Betty J. Rogers, New Albany, Indiana, Larry Huff of Sevierville, Tennessee, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life for Jacob, Saturday, July 10th at Celebration Hall in Scottsburg, Indiana at 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided, all family and friends are welcome.
