James Roger "Jamie " Griffith, Jr., 65, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. He was born on March 18, 1957, in Salem, Massachusetts, the son of the late James Roger Griffith Sr. and Margery (Blacker) Griffith, who survives. Jamie was a 1975 graduate of Cincinnati Country Day School. On September 3, 1994, he married Anita (Beikman) Griffith, who survives. He was quite the darts player. Jamie participated in a few different dart leagues over the span of forty years. He also enjoyed collecting different time pieces, including clocks. Jamie was known to enjoy his house plants and gardening outside. He loved to see the different butterflies come to his garden. He was preceded in death by his father, James R. Griffith, Jr. Survivors include wife, Anita Griffith; mother, Margery Griffith of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Margot (Kenneth) Bean of St. Louis, Missouri; brother, Mark (Jane) Griffith of Northville, Michigan two stepsons, Jeremy (Anna) Meier and Jaye (Lisa) Meier both of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Hannah Usher, Ethan, Zachary, Cory, and Ben Meier; nieces, Carrie Calloway Bean Maxfield, Hillary Joyce Bean; and nephew Alex Blacker Bean.
