James B. Huff, Sr., 76 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on March 1, 1947 in Vicco, Kentucky, the son of the late James Green Huff and Ruth (Baker) Huff. He was an employee of the Lang Company in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of Underwood Baptist Church in Underwood, Indiana and was a member of the Henryville Masonic Lodge # 651 F & AM, Scottish Rite 32nd Degree, and a Shriner. He was also a past Cub Master and baseball coach for many years. On April 1, 1967 he married Vicky (Hays) Huff, who survives. He enjoyed being with his grandkids, loved his online racing games, watching the military channel, and family gatherings. He was preceded in death by parents; two sisters, Joy Stidam and Joan Koger; one brother Otis Huff; and two nephews Jim Huff and Roderick Huff. He is survived by his wife Vicky (Hays) Huff of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter Jennifer (Kenny) Stutsman of Scottsburg, Indiana; son James Bill (Amanda) Huff Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters Connie (Bob) Smalley of Jeffersonville and Tammy Worsham of Louisville, Kentucky; five grandchildren; Zachary (Avanda) Stutsman of Columbus, Indiana, Audrey Huff, Jillian Huff, Sophia Huff, Evalyn Huff all of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one great grandchild Henry Stutsman of Columbus, Indiana. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor David Schill officiating. Visitation: 4:00pm to 8:00pm pm Friday and after 10:00 am Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A Masonic service will be held on Friday March 17, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
