James Weston, 68, of Lexington, Indiana, passed away on January 31,2024 at his home. He was born on August 8, 1955 in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Perry Lewis Weston and Virginia Mae (Coe) Howell. He was retired from Scott County Highway Department in Scottsburg, Indiana. He enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Roger Weston, Alfred Weston, and Claude Weston; and two sisters, Leona Weston and Brenda Weston. Survivors include one brother Ernie (Edna) Weston of Scottsburg, Indiana; four sisters, Charlotte McCowan of Scottsburg, Indiana, Anna Blythe of Scottsburg, Indiana, Peggy (William) Vincent of Austin, Indiana, and Virginia Faye (Dale) Armstrong; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation services have been entrusted to the caring staff of Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside Services will be held at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana at a later date. Memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
