Jane Carolyn Hamusek

Jane Carolyn Hamusek, 78, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at Signature Healthcare Facility.

Born on October 27, 1947, in Inglewood, California, Jane was the beloved daughter of Victor Charles and Gloria Joy Ortloff.

Jane dedicated many years of her career as a Hospital Administrator. She was respected for her professionalism, compassion, and commitment to serving others. Following her retirement, she embraced her most treasured role as a devoted homemaker, creating a warm and loving home for her family.

Jane found her greatest happiness in spending time with those she loved. She cherished family gatherings, enjoyed shopping, and could often be found listening to, or humming along with 70's and 80's soft rock music. Or, relaxing with a great movie or TV show with her late husband Frank. Her kind heart, strong spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T Hamusek; sister, Vicki Davis and half brother, Victor Ortloff. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Hamusek; sons, Aaron Hamusek(Jeanette); Andy Hamusek(Michele); brother, Richard Ortloff(JoAnn); along with 5 grandchildren, Amber, Allison, Kevin, Sophia, Piper and 2 great grandchildren, Violet and Charolette. She will be missed.
