Janice L. Robbins, 60, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on June 30, 1963, in Scottsburg, Indiana, to the late Marion Borders and Eleanor M. (Clark) Borders. Janice was a retired business office manager for Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Scottsburg, where she worked for 14 years until retirement in 2018. She also previously worked in the same position at the old Scott Villa Living Center for many years. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana and graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1981. Janice enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. On April 14, 1996, she married Thomas S. "Tom" Robbins, who survives. She is also survived by her sister, Debra Borders of Scottsburg, Indiana; niece, Tory (Katelyn) Hatton of Scottsburg, Indiana; great nieces and nephews, Eleanor, Shelby, Owen, and Brystol; as well as several other nieces and nephews and several brothers and sisters in law. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Private Funeral and Graveside services will be held at Collins Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Bozarth officiating.
