Jean Ann Fisher, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Kindred Hospital Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on April 13, 1946 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Stanley Kimmick and Mary (Johnson) Kimmick. Jean Ann graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1964 and Spencerian College in Louisville, Kentucky. On July 15, 1995 she married Gaylord E. Fisher, who survives. She was a retired Court Reporter in Scott County Circuit Court Scottsburg, Indiana for 42 years and a member of the First Christian Church. She was an active member of Lambda Chi Omega sorority for many years. Jean Ann loved her family, friends, her dog Bubba J, and mowing her lawn. Jean Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James Kimmick. In addition to her husband, Gaylord, her survivors include sister-in-law, Peggy Kimmick of Scottsburg, Indiana; niece, Heidi (Neal Russell) Kimmick; nephew, Matthew (Jen) Kimmick; great niece, Harper Hess Kimmick; brother-in-law, Ronald Fisher and his two sons, Clint Fisher (Kristi) and Aaron Fisher. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 23, 1:00 at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana. A small Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the service at Collins Family Center.
