Obituary

Jean Ann McIntosh was born in Calais, Maine on November 14, 1943, and peacefully went to her eternal home on February 10, 2024. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and aunt. She was truly an angel on earth, often called "Saint Jean Ann" by those who loved her. A faithful Catholic who was God loving in every aspect of her life. She loved her family and friends deeply. She was known for always making room at the table for a few more. She loved and cared for so many throughout her lifetime and was truly a selfless person, always putting others first.

In 2014, God gifted her with her new best friend and granddaughter, Cree Nichole. She cared for her like no other. Then when she became sick, Cree loved returning the favor and caring for her Nana. They had such a special bond.

Jean was a long-time member of the American Martyrs Catholic Church. She had an incredible work ethic and retired from Morgan Foods, Inc.

Jean is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sam; daughter, Melissa (Chris) Woods and granddaughter, Cree; sister, Shirley Cleland of Needham, Massachusetts; sister-in-law Joan Moffitt, The Villages, Florida; sister-in-law, Jenny (Arley) Jones, Greensburg, Indiana; sister-in-law, Polly Gowanlock, East Aurora, New York; sister-in-law, Wanda McIntosh, Underwood, Indiana; sister-in-law, Clara Ann McIntosh, Kent, Indiana; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
