Jeanni Raye Broady, 47, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1973 in Seymour,Indiana, the daughter of the late Donnie Campbell and Norma (Taylor) Campbell. Jeanni graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1991, then attended Gaylen College of Nursing and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Richmonds University in London, United Kingdom She was an Office Administrator and Nurse at the Foundations Family Medicine in Austin, Indiana for many years and also worked at Scott Memorial Hospital, Kentuckiana Medical Center, Clark Memorial Hospital, and Floyd Memorial Hospital. Jeanni was also a Real Estate Agent for 10 years, working at Real Living Right Now and Schuler Bauer. Throughout the years, Jeanni was involved in numerous community organizations such as Parent Teacher Organizations, Booster Club, Austin Lions Club, We Care, Phi Beta Psi Soroity and numerous others. She was passionate fan of IU basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and NASCAR racing, especially Jimmie Johnson. Jeanni loved the beach, hosting gatherings, caring for others, making sure no one was left out and never met a stranger. Every person in the world, to her, was just a friend she hadn't met yet. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an aunt, Nollie Staley and an uncle, Robert Taylor, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Craig Broady of Scottsburg, Indiana; a daughter, Alexis "Alli" McCarty of Scottsburg, Indiana and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In keeping with Jeanni's wishes, cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. A Celebration of Jeanni's Life will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at The Rock in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation and services will be open to the public as long as social distancing guidelines can be observed. Please follow the CDC's and Indiana State recommendations and guidelines while attending the services.
