Jeffery Lynn Stamper, 52, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home. Jeff was an avid fisherman who loved spending time casting a line. He could fix any engine you put in front of him and enjoyed tinkering on cars. He spent time working in the coal mines in Montana and enjoyed the fresh air and clear skies. He is preceded in death by his father, Hobert Stamper Jr. and mother, Alfretta Campbell. Jeff is survived by his three children, Brandon Stamper, Jalin Stamper, and Addy Stamper; his sister, Pauline Hurley (John); brother, Scotty Redifer (Cindy); nieces, Laura Redifer, Kayla Grasch (Thomas), and Katelyn Hurley-Graves (Josh); nephew, John Hurley III; great-niece Savannah Grasch; and a slew of cousins and best friends, Steven and Crystal. Visitation will be Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at one of his favorite fishing spots, Lake Iola.
