Jerry Binkley, 74, of Lexington, Indiana passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Indian Creek Nursing Home in Corydon, Indiana. He was born on August 8, 1947 in Bristol, Rhode Island, the son of the late Roy and Catherine V. (Dupuis) Binkley. On March 20, 1966 he married Linda (Green) Binkley, who survives. He was a self-employed Truck Driver at JL Binkley and Sons Trucking Company in Lexington, Indiana. Jerry was a long time member of Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church in Lexington, Indiana. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on classic cars, and racing hot rods and dune buggies. In addition to his parents Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Matt Binkley; sister, Linda Kay Binkley, and one grandchild, Storie Oaklynn Binkley. Survivors include wife, Linda Binkley of Lexinton, Indiana; three sons, Jerry Lynn (Missi) Binkley, Tony (Jennifer) Binkley, and Roy (Lara) Binkley all of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Sally (Johnny) Nguyen of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, John (Fran) Binkley of Decatur, Indiana, Paul Binkley of Monroe, Louisiana, and James (Melissa) Binkley of Scottsburg, Indiana; sister, Carla (William) Gross of Scottsburg, Indiana; seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Bill Owens officiating. Visitation: 10:30 am to 1:00 pm Thursday at Collins Funeral Home.
