Jerry Nelson Rose, 69, of Underwood, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on November 28, 1952, in Scott County, Indiana, the son of the late Alice Mae (Broady) Rose. Jerry was retired from Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana and had also worked at Marble Hill Power Plant and Haas Cabinet Factory. He attended Eagle's Nest International Ministry, Elevation, and Fairview Christian Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Delores Lawhon, Linda Clements, and Dixie Woods and one brother Roger Rose. Survivors include two sons, Matthew (Deanna) Rose and Gabriel (Taylor) Rose both of Scottsburg, Indiana; two brothers, Joe and Roland Rose both of Ft. Meyers, Florida; two sisters Wanda Mcintosh of Underwood, Indiana and Sondra Stacey of Austin, Indiana; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
