Josephine Campbell Kamman, 75, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1947, in Blocher, Indiana, the daughter of the late Herbert Campbell and Lettie Mae (Howard) Campbell. Josephine was a lifetime member of the Ladies V.F.W. Auxiliary # 6582 in Scott County. She was a retired box machine operator for Morgan Foods in Austin, Indiana and also a former employee of the old U.S. Shoe Factory in Crothersville, Indiana. Josephine also enjoyed collecting angels. In addition to her parents, Josephine is preceded in death by four brothers, Paul, Saul, Kenneth, and Hubert Campbell; three sisters, RosiaLee Haney, Kathyleen Petty, and twin sister, Maxine Frakes; longtime friend, Raymond Maupin. Survivors include her two sons, John Parks of Salt Lick, Kentucky and James Parks of Austin, Indiana; three daughters, Tammie Parks of Austin, Indiana, Patty Jo Ann Lowry of Vienna, Indiana, and Christy Kamman of Austin, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday, February 13, 2023, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana with Pastor Jacob Howell officiating. Visitation 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2023, and after 10:00 am Monday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Spurgeon Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
