Josephine Helton, 69, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on March 22, 1953 in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Oliver) Helton. Josephine enjoyed going to the beach, going to the casino with her sisters, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Raymond, Arthur, and Ecil Helton. Survivors include her son, Jonathan (Joyce) Crawford of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sisters, Gladys Estes and Treva (Mike) Woods both of Scottsburg, Indiana; brother, Edward (Jan) Helton of Salem, Indiana; special cousin, Regina Fierrara of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Jonie, Josie (Cody), and Joy (Joel); great granddaughter, Myra Kaye; and her beloved pup, Callie. Cremation has been entrusted to Collins Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at the Collins Family Center in Scottsburg, Indiana on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm.
