Joyce A. Campbell, 85, of Underwood, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was born on December 15, 1936, in Scottsburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul Lester Carver and Mary Louise (Smelser) Carver. On June 18, 1955, she married William "Bill" A. Campbell, who passed away January 4, 2005. Joyce was a lunch lady at Henryville High School in Henryville, Indiana and also worked as a clerk for the Census Bureau. She was an avid Bunco player and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Joyce was a member of the Underwood Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, Bill, Joyce is preceded in death by her brother, Paul "Bud" Carver; and two sisters, Pauline Phillipy and Margaret Whitlatch. Survivors include two daughters, Lori (Kenny) Spellman of Underwood, Indiana and Lisa (Fred) Tucker of Henryville, Indiana; three sons, Mike (Patty) Campbell, David Campbell, and Roger (Debbie) Campbell all of Underwood, Indiana; nine grandchildren; Trisha, Chris, Travis, Emily, Nickalas, Devin, Jake, Katie, and Cameron; eight great granddaughters; and six great grandsons. Cremation was entrusted to Collins Funeral Home with a Graveside Service 11:00 am Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
