Joyce Ann Finch

Joyce Ann Finch, 86, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 16, 1940, in Manchester, Kentucky, the daughter of Daniel and Edna Cox. Joyce graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1958 and went on to attend Huffer's Beauty College. She worked for many years as a dedicated beautician, forming lasting friendships with those she served.

In 1958, Joyce married the love of her life, Paul Finch, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and shared memories. Later in her career, she worked as a manager for Subway restaurants, serving the communities of Scottsburg, Madison, and Jeffersonville for over 10 years.

Joyce was a faithful member of First Christian Church. After retiring, she and Paul moved to Florida, where they cherished time spent by the lake, fishing, and enjoying days at the beach. After several years, they returned to Indiana, where Joyce found great joy in spending time with her family and friends.

Joyce will be remembered for her warmth, dedication to her family, and the kindness she showed to everyone she met.Cremation was chosen and entrusted with Collins Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Finch; sister, Malvina Deaton; nephews, Jimmy Huff and Jeremy Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy A. Finch; sons, Tim Finch(Carolyn), Randy Finch(Brenda); brothers, Mike Cox(Charlotte), Marvin Cox(Phyllis); along with five grandchildren, Tabitha Perry(William), Jason Finch, Clarence Zollman Jr., Nathan Finch, Tiffany Taylor(Chris); seven great grandchildren, Breanna, Andrew, Paul, William Jr., Elizabeth, Nicholas, Karsen, Tinsley; along with several nieces and nephews.
