Joyce R. Wilson, 84, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020 at Hampton Oaks Health Campus. She was born on December 16, 1935 in Scott County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Hugh E. Richey and Bernice Ruth (Bartle) Richey. Joyce graduated from Scottsburg High School and then earned an Associates Degree in Business at Spencerian College. She was a retired secretary from Scott County School District II and the old American Can Company and was a member of the Scottsburg First Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed gardening, antiques and crafts, but especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin M. White in 1962 and her second husband, Curtis Wilson in 1995. Survivors include two sons, Marc (Sherry) White of Bloomington, Indiana and Ed White of Columbus, Indiana; a stepson, Steve (Anita) Wilson of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Lizabeth Wilson of St. Petersburg, Florida; a sister, Annagene Holle of San Diego, California; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Cremation services were entrusted to Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Scottsburg Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Sills officiating.
