Judy Lynn Johnson

Judy Lynn Johnson was born in Indianapolis Indiana on August 2, 1949. Her parents were Helen L Johnson and Kenneth H Johnson. She was the fourth child and her siblings was Anita kay Hamlyn, Lois A Densford and Sandra L Rose. The family moved to Scottsburg Indiana just before her third birthday. Her father owned a propane bottle gas business they attended the first Baptist Church. She attended the Scottsburg school system and graduated in 1967. She then attended IU Southeast Jeffersonville, Indiana and graduated with an associate degree in 1970. She was called to be a nurse and teacher at age 6. She worked at Scott Memorial Hospital, Jesse Holman Jones hospital in Springfield, Tennessee, and finally at Norton hospital in Louisville for the majority of her career. She completed her bachelors degree from Bellarmine university in 1986. She worked for Norton hospital for 39 1/2 years . In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Densford and Kay Hamlyn, Helen and Kenneth; two nieces Terry Lynn Densford , Donna; nephew Kenneth Lester. Also two brother-in-law's Otis Densford, Loyd Rose. Judy is survived by; sister, Sandra Rose; brother-in-law Ralph Hamlyn, 8 nieces and nephews; Lisa Biseda, Cheryl Grever(Jim), Joe Hamlyn(Christine), Tim Rose(Jennifer); along with 9 great nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 10-1pm with service to follow at 1pm at Scottsburg United Methodist Church, 615 S. Honeyrun Pkwy, Scottsburg, Indiana.
