Judy S. Unger, 76, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on August 7, 1946, in Clearwater, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Delbert E. Short and Ogle F. (Gist) Short. Judy worked at Valeo in Seymour, Indiana. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Scottsburg, Indiana and was a graduate from Scottsburg High School. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Jennifer K. Unger. She is survived by her two sons, Aaron (Angela) Unger of Scottsburg, Indiana and Curtis (Heather) Unger of Lexington, Indiana; two brothers Prentice M. Short, Sr. and Robert D. Short both of Scottsburg, Indiana; and one sister Melba J. Young of Scottsburg, Indiana. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Blake, Kaydence, Kace and Alexander Unger, Justin and Allison Bragg and Christopher Gibson. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 Noon Friday at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Zoah Cemetery in Scottsburg, Indiana.
