Julie Ann Montfort

Julie Ann Montfort, 66, beloved mother and cherished friend, passed away on October 3, 2026, Scottsburg, Indiana. She born on November 23, 1959, in Madison, Indiana, Julie was a dedicated homemaker who poured her heart into her family and home throughout her life. On July 17, 1999 Julie married the love of her life, Roy Edward Montfort II, and he passed on October 18, 2008. Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Montfort; and parents, Darrell Welch and Carol Tevis. Julie is survived by her two daughters, Christina Watkins and Chastity Watkins; two sons, William Watkins and Carl Thomas; one son in law, Jason Janes; and close friend, Chantel Monie. In honor of Julie's life, Collins Funeral Home was entrusted with the cremation, with a private burial ceremony to be held at a later date. The family invites loved ones to join them in celebrating Julie's life and legacy.
