Karon Ann Hunley, 66, of Jensen Beach Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Scottsburg, Indiana on April 29, 1954, the daughter of the late Carl Hazelwood and Catherine L. (Dean) Hazelwood. Karon graduated from Scottsburg High School in the Class of 1972. She was married on January 1, 1999 to Harry J. Hunley. Karon was such an artsy and creative soul and most will remember her as Designer at Eclectic Designs by Karon or the Home Interior Consultant. She also worked for Dowden Publishing for many years selling advertising and at the Little Shop of Chic in Stuart, Florida. Karon's latest hobby was watercolor paintings and she loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Harry J. Hunley; a sister, Cindy Bonsett (Steve) of Scottsburg, Indiana; two daughters, Kara D. Richardson (Alex) and grandson Ziah of Louisville, Kentucky, Kalea D. Richardson (Matthew) and grandchildren Kadin, Madilyn, and Hudson of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepson, Benji Hunley (Melissa) and grandsons Benjamin, Carter, Koby and Kai of Scottsburg, Indiana; a stepdaughter, Marcy Prather (Matt) and grandsons, Alex, Ethan, and Sam, of Scottsburg, Indiana; two great grandsons, Grayson and Levi and two nieces, Casey Bonsett and Carlye Harbert (Matt). In keeping with Karon's wishes, cremation is requested following the celebration.
