Katrina Eversole King, 72 of Scottsburg passed away Friday February 21, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born October 8, 1952, in Scottsburg to William Irvin and Imogene Colwell Eversole. She graduated from Austin High School in 1970 before receiving her associate's degree from Spencerian College in 1971. On June 23, 1972, she married Glen King, and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2022. Katrina spent most of her working life at ILPEA in Scottsburg retiring in 2018 as a Sales Manager. In 1995 she started K&K Cleaning Service with Glen. She was a long-time member of Grace Covenant Church of God in Austin where she served on the Hospitality Committee and the Praise and Worship Team. She enjoyed going to auctions, traveling in the Smoky Mountains, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Surviving to cherish her memories are her daughter and son-in-law, Starr and Jason Corbin of Lancaster, PA, her sister, Regina Crump of Scottsburg, four grandchildren, Kaylee, Isaac, and Isabella Schroeder and Hannah Corbin as well as a nephew and his wife, Adam and Jordan Crump and great-niece, Isla Crump.  Friends may visit with Katrina's family from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Grace Covenant Church of God, 75 W. Main Street, Austin, IN. Concluding services and interment will follow at Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Grace Covenant Children's Home (The Refuge).
