Kenneth "Kenny" Franklin Dunn, Jr., 53, of Henryville, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born on July 19, 1969, in New Albany, Indiana, the son of the Kenneth Franklin Dunn Sr. and the late Darlene Catherine (Bradford) Dunn.

Kenny was a 1987 graduate of Henryville Jr. & Sr. High School.

Kenny coached at both the youth and high school level sports at Henryville for many years. He had a love of sports also, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Indiana University Hoosiers, and the Cincinnati Reds. He never would pass up a golf outing with his best friends and family. When not out golfing or coaching a sport, he was watching his favorite band The Rumors with his special dancing partners Missy & Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Darlene and his four-legged companion, Bella.

Kenny gave the ultimate gift of life by being a tissue and eye transplantation donor.

Survivors include father, Kenneth "Kenny" Dunn, Sr. of Henryville, Indiana; son, Jacob Dunn of Scottsburg, Indiana; daughter, Caitlyn (Spencer Boyle) Dunn of Evansville, Indiana; two sisters, Theresa Dunn of New Albany, Indiana and Jenny Dunn of Henryville, Indiana; niece, Katherine (Dakota) Hadley of Jeffersonville, Indiana, her daughter and great niece, Elizabeth Hadley; and niece, Jordan (Mariah) Meredith of Bloomfield, Kentucky and dear family friend, Darlene "Dart" Noel of Henryville, IN.

Funeral Service 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, October 14, 2022, and after 9:00 am Saturday at Collins Funeral Home. Interment at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Henryville, Indiana.
