Kenny Albertson, 75, of Scottsburg, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Leavenworth, Indiana. He was born July 12, 1949, in Salem, Indiana to Alfred Albertson, Sr. and Nancy Brown Albertson. Kenny served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War. After his military service, he worked as a heavy equipment mechanic. He loved riding motorcycles, especially for charities. He loved having a fun time. He is survived by his niece, Wyoma Feeler of Crossville, TN, his brother, Harry Albertson of Scottsburg, his step-son, Kevin Woodard of Denver, NC, his step-daughter, Pam Martinez of Mexico, his step-granddaughter, Elizabeth Gillian of Denver, NC, his step-great-grandson, Alaric Gillian of Denver, NC. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sue Albertson, his siblings, Franklin D. Albertson, Robert Wayne Albertson, Ted Albertson, Jerry Albertson, Alfred Albertson, Jr., Kathryn Moore, and Randall D. "Cat" Albertson and great-granddaughter, Paisley Sue Gillian. The celebration of life for Kenny will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Church of God in Scottsburg. Memorial donations can be made in Kenny's name to American Cancer Society, Parkinson's Research or Dementia/Alzheimer's Association.
